
At the basement floor, the museum has an introduction of the aboriginal spiritual beliefs and their culture changing over time. For instance, Paiwan Tribe's Maleveq Festival and Yamei Tribal beliefs are also the features of the basement floor displays. In the auditorium, you can get to learn about the aboriginal life. The 1st floor is ‘Man and Nature. This floor presents lifestyles and implements is about the relationship between South Island Aborigine and Taiwanese Aborigines, traditional statues, briefs, Yamei Tribe fishing canoe displays, Paiwan Tribe stone sculpture, etc. The 2nd floor is ‘Tools and Weapons’. This floor presents Yamei Tribal huts, clay utensils, Amei Tribal weaved products, Paiwan sculptural patterns and hunting cultures, Bunon Tribe crops cottage,etc. The 3rd floor is’ Clothing, Ornaments, Culture, Beliefs and Ceremonies’. The exhibits present the living environment, traditional lifestyles, material culture, social and religious beliefs and history of Taiwan’s indigenous tribes. In addition, from time to time the museum will work with a special individual, group or organization to hold special exhibitions on current indigenous events.

Tour Guide:
Chinese guided tour is offered at 2 pm every Saturday and Sunday. Special appointment is accepted 2 weeks in advance. English and Japanese guided tours are also available.
