Museum of Drinking Water-
Located in the Taipei Water Park, Gongguang area of Zhongzhen district, Taipei City, the Museum of Drinking Water was first established in 1908 and has been designated to be a Grade-3 historic site in 1997 by the Ministry of Interior.

Only 2 weeks after the initial opening to the public, the museum was closed for restoration after the building was found leaking which leads to hazardous by the Taipei Municipal Government. Not until year 1998, restoration underwent with a budget of TWD$80 million dollars to perform the repair and restore the building.

The area re-opened during 2007 as the Taipei Water Park, surrounding the museum with water related facilities including Gongguan Visitor Information Center, Nursery in Water Source Site, Ecology Hiking Trail, Pipe Sculptur Area, Water Distribution Material Exhibition Area, Water Resource Educational Hall, Gongguan Purification Plant, Gongguan Riverside, Aqua Friendly Experiencing Area, Historical Water Metering Room Plaza and Raw Water Pumping Station. Beautiful gardens and interesting facilities within the Taipei Water Park attracts not only kids and families for water activities, newlyweds and photographers can also be seen for the natural environment and cozy atmosphere the area offers.

From 9:00 am to 10:00 pm in Summer Period (from July 1 to Aug 31).

Other period than Summer Period:
From 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Monday is the day off, but if Monday falls into holiday, it is open to the public as usual.

Take bus route O south(0南), 1, 30, 52, 74, 106, 109, 115, 208, 236, 251, 252, 253, 254, 278, 280, 284, 290, 291, 311, 505, 510, 606, 626, 642, 643, 644, 648, 649, 907, or Shindian Bus(新店客運), Xin Xin Bus(欣欣客運), Zhinan Bus(指南客運) Line 1 & 2 and get off at Gongguan MRT Station(捷運公館站), walk along Sec. 4, Roosevelt Rd 24 lane(羅斯福路四段24巷) and turn into Siyuan Street(思源路) to reach museum.

By Car:
1. National Highway No.1(國道一號) exit Songjiang offramp(松江交流道), connect to Jianguo Elevated Rd(建國高架橋) heading south towards Heping East Rd exit(和平東路出口), drive along Xinhai Rd(辛亥路) to Jilong Rd(基隆路) and turn onto Tingzhou Rd(汀洲路), turn right onto Siyuan Street(思源路) to reach the museum.
