New Taipei City ─ Guanyinshan
Located at the North Coast of the Tamsui River, Mt Guanyin literally means Mt. Goddess of Mercy in Chinese. It is consists by 18 mountain ranges and it looks like the Goddess of Mercy Guanyin lying down. The mountain is covered by fog most of the time, which you can see from across the shore of this magnificent hazy view. It is one of the eight most-visited scenic areas in Tamsui and there are many hiking trails for people live in Taipei area to spend their free time to explore.
On the South of the Guanyinshan, there is a temple called Lingyun Buddhist Temple, where the statues of Guanyin are stand along the roadside. Followers come here to worship and the incense burning non-stop all year round. If you visited the Guanyinshan, you can also check out the nearby white sandy beaches, streaming hot springs, traditional local town, and seafood restaurants.
