Chingshui Rock Temple is dedicated to Buddha and Kuanyin. A tale has it if a couple is having trouble bearing a child. Making wishes here in the Temple can be very helpful. The architecture of the temple is traditional Chinese with decoration of dragon and phoenix. Beside it is religiously fascinating, Chingshui rock Temple has one of the three most famous hillside sceneries in central Taiwan. Natural scenery preserved so well and so clean, the local spring water was described even ants would be drawn to it. Huge traditional religion activities are held every once in a while, it’s a great chance to witness the process and experience Taiwan at its prime.
Chingshui Rock Temple organized a few natural hiking routes. Through the mountains on the hiking routes, discovering magnificent ancient old tree and intriguing secret views of the hillside makes a great afternoon. The recreation area is adjacent to the temple, where you can find a campsite and barbecue pits fit surrounded by natural forest.
