The main cooking methods of Benbang are baking, stewing, teaming, and deep-frying. Haipai cuisines were originated in the late Qing Dynasty, and are a fusion of many other Chinese cuisines as well as the western tastes. The main ingredients used in Haipai cuisines are seafood: fish, shrimp, and crabs.
