The Houli Horse Farm is located in Houli, Taichung. It was the stable of the governor back in the Japanese Colonial Period. Now, it is a farm that bred up to 400 horses and open to the public. From the cute little mini horses to competition use stallions, Houli Horse Farm gathered fine steeds from around the world. It is one of the centrals for training in equestrian and horsemanship in Taiwan. Activities with the horses are provided, from petting, feeding to actual horseback riding and training. All the programs are guaranteed with the finest facilities and under licensed supervision.

Besides horse related leisure, hiking or carriage ride through large spacious scenery with woods and plains are also popular things to do. Large equestrian events are hold here throughout the whole year, watching competitions and games is just classy. Mini-kart ride, archery, bicycles are available for rent along with camping sites and barbeque grills, it’s a wonderful location for the weekend camping trip.

Houli Horse Farm is a great visit. Here at the farm, visitors can pay for a fun horseback riding guided by qualified coach and many other outdoor activities. Other than that, there are also classy honeymoon villas for overnight stay if you looking for an easy trip. Other nearby attractions like Chishin Mountain Tourism Fruit Farm, Piloo Buddhist Temple and Shihkan Reservoir are also great place to be scheduled in your trip to Taichung.
