Jiji Line stretches from Ersui in Changhua County to Nantou. Completed in 1921, this 30 meters long railway passes through some of the most scenic fields in Taiwan. The trip takes about 50 minutes and is the very first railroad specially caters for tourists in Taiwan.
From Zhosui to Jiji , this 9 km trip passes the famous camphor trees dense woodland along the No 16 Provincial Route. This stretch is nicked named “The Green Tunnel”.
During holiday, hosts of visitors would take the small train ride to Suili for fun. When in Jiji , there are several interest points such as Mingshin Courtyard, Jiji Mountain, Tienshin Cave and Suilishir Cave, which are worth dropping by.

Suili Stop : Snake Cave, Lienyin Temple, Yifung Bridge
Chicheng Stop : Mingtang Power Plant, Minghu Power station, Kuanyin Suspension Bridge.

1. National number 1 highway(國道1號), exit Zhongching offramp(中清交流道), drive along Tai 14 route(台14), Tai 16 route(台16) to Chi Chi(集集).
Directions to Jiji Railway Station by train:
1. Take train-Jiji Line from Chiayi Douliu and transfer from Ershui to Jiji Railway Station.
2. Take train-Jiji Line from Taichung, Changhua or Ershui to Jiji Railway Station.
Note: Jiji Line runs between Taichung and Checheng stations & Changhua and Checheng stations. (partial trains only provide service to Ershui or Tianzhong)
