Baolai Hot Springs are located the west part of Southern Cross-Island Highway and is in the vicinity to Bulao Hot Springs area. With an altitude of 550meters originated from Baolai valley and surrounded by forested mountains next to the Laonong River, Baolai Hot Springs features magnificent views and carbonic acid water. Its water is clean, colorless and odorless, with PH 7 and 60 Celsius degrees.  

In recent years because of the prospering of recreation area, Baolai Hot Springs have become an important attraction. This area is dotted with many hot spring hotels and resorts, which offer tourists a great place for leisure travel or vacation. Along the river bank are territories for camping and barbecue, you may also visit nearby Bulao Hot Spring and Maolin National Scenic Area for beautiful natural scenery during your Kaohsinug travel.

Qishan (旗山) -> No. 21 Provincial Highway (台21線) -> Jiaxian (甲仙) -> No. 21 Provicial Highway (台20省道) -> Bulao Hot Spring (不老溫泉)

By Bus:
Take Kaohsiung Bus (高雄客運) bound for Xinkai Village (新開村) from Liugui Farmer’s Association (六龜農會) to Dinxingfa stop (頂新發站).
