There are many bike trails in Taoyuan organized by the officials like in Sanlin, Sankeng, Xinwu, Daxi and more around Shihmen Reservoir. Sanlin Bike Lane has the total length of 3 km connecting attractions like Longtan Golf Course, Longtan Stadium, Sanyuan Temple and Tea Factory. All the attractions feature natural sceneries of tea farms and greeneries. Sanlin Bike Lane is mostly a casual bike trails, suitable for hiking as well, but offers some route with a little more challenging for intermediate bikers. It is suitable for families looking for good Hakka food and beautiful natural scenery. Bicycle rental is available during the weekends.
