The design of streamline roof is for adaptability of the strong wind in Hsinchu. The first floor is the lobby of ticket office, shops and transfer area, the second floor is the coulisse, and the third floor is the platform.
HSR Hsinchu Station provides all-in-one services for travelers to Hsinchu downtown and the Science Park, it will connect to the Neiwan line of Taiwan Railway Administration in the future. Beside the station is THSR Exhibition, which introduces the whole transportation system and simulation station. It is free of visit with reservation.
Hsinchu Railway Station is just 20 minute drive, shuttle buses are available, and the Hsinchu Science Park is 5 km away, through County road 117 to arrive in about 10 minute drive. From Hsinchu to Kaohsiung, it takes about 90 minutes to THSR Zouying Station, which is in a distance about 273 km; and about 25 minutes drive to the next station Taichung, which is in a distance about 93 km.
