Located in Hsinchu County, Hukou Old Street not only a popular attraction, there are also bicycle trails nearby. This bike trails can separated into different sections. The first section is from Fenjiwo Leisure Farm to Hukuo Old Street and the total length of this bike path is 2.8km. It is easy to ride on, and you can bike along the Hukuo Old Street and get to appreciate the traditional architecture design of the old shops. The second section of bike path is from Hsinchu County Road 12 to Hukou Old Street, and the total length of the bike path is 12.6km. It’s a little challenge to ride due to the hill road, but you would be able to appreciate the greenery tea farm.

Hukou Old Street is a 300-meter long street occupied by 200-plus shop-houses that were built around 1920. This is lined by two-story, redbrick buildings that are probably the most complete Japanese-era urban thoroughfare remaining in Taiwan.

Sanyuan temple is a historical site built in 1918. It is a traditional Hakka style temple.

Golden Lion Temple walking trail is located nearby the Hukou Old Street. The trail’s pavement is made of granite. There are tung oil trees are planted on the both side of the walking trail with the tung flowers in full blossom It was quite soothing to take a stroll here.
