The building of Taiwan High Speed Rail Taoyuan Station is two stories tall and has an underground floor. Its architecture design is a fusion of Chinese lanterns and glass walls, which creates a traditional atmosphere. There are shuttle buses to many attractions of Taoyuan, and taxi stops and MRT system are expected to operate in 2010. Within 30 minutes, you can reach Taoyuan Railway Station by bus or taxi, and about 20 minute to Taoyuan International Airport.

The location of HSR Taoyuan Station is at the transport hub of Taoyuan, which is easy to transfer to other towns. Taiwan High Speed Rail Taoyuan Station connects to Zhongli City and Longtan to the south, through National road No.2 or County road 110 to Taoyuan City and Yingge to the north, or through County road 113 to the Airport. It only takes a 30 minute drive to Shihmen Reservoir and a 40 minute drive to the amusement park well-known for miniatures of great scenic spots around the world, Window on China Theme Park. It takes about 105 minutes from THSR Taoyuan station to THSR Zouying Station, within a distance about 303 km. Moreover, it takes about 15 minute drives from Taoyuan station to Hsinchu station, within a distance about 30 km.
