Kaohsiung City ─ Kaohsiung Confucius Temple
Located at the north west of Lotus Lake, the Confucius Temple is patterned according to the Shung Dynasty architectural style. The lustrous and tranquil building is divided into four main sections which include a shrine, altars and a library.
On the left of the building is a small bridge where a huge bronze plate depicted the life of Confucius and his doctrine.

By KRT -> Bus:
Take Kaohsiung KRT to KRT Zuoying Station. From there, take bus no. 51 or 301 from KRT Zuoying Station (捷運左營站) to Kaohsiung Confucius Temple (高雄孔廟)
Drive on your own:
No. 1 National Highway (國道一號) -> exit from Zuoying Interchange (左營交流道) -> Dazhong 1st Road (大中一路) -> Ring Road (匝道) -> City Expressway (都會快速公路) -> exit City Expressway from Cueihua Road(翠華路)-> Zhoujai Road (洲仔路) -> make a right turn on Huantan Road (環潭路) -> Mingtan Road (明潭路) -> make a left turn at Liantan Road (蓮潭路)
