FebYanshui Firecrackers Ceremony
Date: the 15th day of January according to Lunar Calendar
Location: Wu Temple and Yanshui district
On the day of Lantern Festival, people would visit Yanshui in Tainan County to follow the sedan chair of the divinity with firecrackers aside. The interesting cultural events including the procedure of assembling firecrackers, learning different types of firecrackers and so on. As a friendly reminder for your safety, please bring a helmet, mask, and towel as well as dressing in long pants and long sleeves shirt when joining the Yanshuei Firecrackers Ceremony.

Feb-MarYuejin Lantern Festival
Location: Yuejingang Riverside Park
The Tainan Yue Jin Lantern Festival attracted tourists each year from around Taiwan ever since it began in 2010. A large scale lantern exhibition with exquisite local creativity and culture designs has become one of the major events during the Chinese New Year and Lantern Festival.
