Jhihben National Forest Recreation Area is famed for its trails, including the scenic trail, steep slope trial, and forest bath trail. The scenic trail starts from the tourist information center passing mesmerizing spots such as waterfalls and garden. The scenic trail takes about a 45 minute walk to complete, suitable for elderly and children. The 320 meter-long steep slope trail that has a difference in slope up to 150 meters, is a challenging trail for adventurous visitors. The forest bath trail is about 1.8 kilometer-long, where one may find Big-leaf mahogany forest, Taiwan ash trees, camphor trees and many other forests offering the best place for phytoncid. Guanlin Suspension Bridge is another highlight of Jhihben National Forest Recreation Area for panoramic views overlooking surroundings and river.
