The source of Lenzhir Hot Spring is at the foothill behind Lenzhir Village. It leached out from the cracks on the rocky surface. The water is clear, odorless, and maintains a temperature of 90° C. It is of alkaline nature and contains calcium bicarbonate which is effective in healing skin diseases and relaxing the joint muscles. Lenzhir Hot Spring is one of the most popular spots for a bath in winter time.
Due to its geological make-up, Lenzhir Hot Spring area is always fairly cool, about 4 to 5 degrees cooler than Taipei in summer. There are concrete platforms for camping purposes in front of the Lenzhir Mountain Resort. It is a fantastic place for lots of outdoor activities such as swimming and fishing, which indulging in nature’s embrace. When you travel to Lenzhir Hot Springs, you may also want to visit natural sightseeing spots like Sacred Wood Park Area, Cueifong Lake, Chinhsui Geothermal Energy, and Zhialan Forest Recreation Area.
