There are several wooden and metallic walk paths in the Botanical Garden to protect vegetation from visitors and provide various themes. Taipei Botanical Gardens are divided into 17 districts with 9 ponds designed to grow different types of plants. Each unique plant is marked with its formal scientific name, place of origin, applications and its unique features.
