Taitung Tourism Night Market is located on Zhengqi Road. It’s a fruit market during the weekdays and changes into a tourist night market during the evening on holidays. The night market only began in 2010, a quite young and new night market. It stretches on Zhenqi Road starting from Boai Road to Zhonghua Road. The night market open from Thursday to Saturday for tourist, keeping the night in Taitung busy on holidays.

The fruit market on Zhengqi Road is where the locals purchase fresh fruits. During the night time, when the fruit market transforms into night market with delicious local snacks, this is where you experience hospitality of the Southern Taiwan. A great variety of selection, cheap and huge like the famous tofu flower, tangyuan, tacoyaki and pan-fried buns, Taitung Tourist Night Market is filled with tasty savories. Small leisure games like pinball machine and shooting balloons are set up by vendors for tourists to have some fun besides food.

Taitung Tourist Night Market guarantees good food. But before heading down there, make sure you visit other attractions to work up some appetite.
