Exhibition and Education Building: Tuesday - Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Last admission is 30 minutes before closing), closed every Monday (open on National Holidays, closed on the following day).
Library: Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., closed on weekends and National holidays.
Museum Park: 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Regular Ticket: TWD 80
Group Ticket: TWD 60 (Group of 20 or more, plus a guided tour rental fee of TWD 20)
Concession Ticket: TWD 40 (Children 6-12y, students)
Family Ticket: TWD 160 (Within 4 family members, including at least 1 child (6 and over but under 15) and up to 2 adults, who have to enter the museum together.)
Free Admission:

Disabled persons (one accompanying person may also enter free of charge)
Museum members (must produce card)
International Council of Museums (ICOM) card holders
※Notes: Discount tickets or free admission requires a valid ID. Please show your valid ID when purchasing concession tickets, family tickets (children above 6 but not over 15) and applying for any other free admission. You will be asked to purchase a regular ticket if you fail to present a valid ID.

available parking areas：

Monday – Sunday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., entrance fee is required. Buses TWD 80, cars TWD 40. Motorcycles and bicycles are free.
The Museum's parking lot can accommodate a maximum of 224 cars, 30 buses, and 128 motorcycles. There are parking spaces for the disabled. Please present a valid disabled parking ID. (Please show your ID to the parking booth when leaving.)

1. From Freeway
National Freeway No. 1→ Exit at Yongkang Interchange (Head towards Tainan) → Zhongzheng N. Rd.→ Yongan Rd. (Changhe Rd. after Yongan Bridge) → Changhe Rd.→ Cross over the Donghe Bridge→ National Museum of Taiwan History (around 15 minutes)
2. Tainan Railway Station→ Head west on Chenggong Rd
Ximen Rd.→ Turn right onto Zhongzheng S. Rd.→ Zhongzheng N. Rd.→ Yongan Rd.→ Donghe Bridge → National Museum of Taiwan History (30 minutes)
3. Tainan Railway Station→ Head west on Chenggong Rd
Gongyuan Rd.→ Pass by Zhongshan Park→ Anhe Rd. (County Highway 19) → Turn right onto Changhe Rd. → Renai Bridge → National Museum of Taiwan History (40 minutes)

From THSR Tainan Station:
1. Take Taxi→ National Museum of Taiwan History (35 minutes)
2. Take Xialun Extension Line → Yongkang Rail Station → Bus no. 20 → National Museum of Taiwan History (50 minutes)
3. Take THSR Shuttle Bus (Chi Mei Medical Center) → Queena Plaza Hotel → Taxi → to National Museum of Taiwan History (80 minutes)

By Train:
1. Take train to Tainan Railway Station → Bus no. 18 → National Museum of Taiwan History (60 minutes)
