In an old veteran village, one veteran single handed painted his village in colors. The village gain reputation over the internet via social media, it became the Rainbow Village we recognize today. An alley 150 meters long, from ceiling to the wall, from the pavement to the mailboxes, Mr. Huang creates colorful stripes and pictures. It may not seem very professional at first, but it is alive, vivid and joyful. It has become the hottest photo shooting.

Huang Yongfu is a resident since the early days of this village. He is the man behind this all these colorful creations. He single-handedly painted the walls, doors, and the roads throughout the area with a vibrant colors and cute pictures, which has gained the nickname of Rainbow Grandpa. He humble suggested all these paintings are just a hobby. The ideas came from the news, local surroundings, tourist and random ideas. Never has he expected the paintings to become popular. The pictures include cartoons, celebrities, or quotes.

The Rainbow Village welcomes donation for the paints. All donations will be recorded.
