The Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) is a convention center for Shanghai and China as well, included the total area 250,000 square meters of a tower, which divided into 200,000 square meters of indoor space and 50,000 square meters of outdoor space. There are 17 exhibition halls and the area of each hall is approximately 11,547 square meters. SNIEC has hosted diverse and distinguished conventions such as The Shanghai Motor Show. The convention center has planned to invest an amount of U.S. 99 million dollars project to complete the exhibition facilities by 2010. After executing the project, the on-site facilities of SNIEC will contain snack bars and restaurants for catering; movable partitions, utilities, offices and crate storage for operation. The other consideration of facilities include the thoughtful entrance design for visitors walking into the exhibition halls smoothly, information services, coffee shops, registration, business talking area. This accomplishment of the project will ensure SNIEC’s to maintain its leading position in China and even further to be the center of East Asian exhibition.
