Like the “Champs Elysees” in Paris, Jinming 1st Street is a business district for shopping and leisure. The 130-meter long pedestrian street features outdoor cafes, boutiques and exotic restaurants, and it is the very first model business street in Taichung. Jinming 1st Street is located in between Dadun 19th and Dalong Rd. The shop proprietors tried to provide European style walking street for metropolitans, and built the public area with an aesthetic landscape. Now Jinming 1st Street is a popular spot for Taichung citizens and tourists, you may find latest fashion and fine foreign cuisine or just enjoy a layback hour.

Have a cup of coffee in the afternoon and do some window shopping, the unique ambience make the street differs from other business districts.
