Coral Island is a large island near Chalong and close to Koh Lone. It's easy to reached to Coral Island, just rent a longtail boat at Rawai Beach or Chalong pier. Long Beach and Banana Beach are the two main beaches of Coral Island. You will discover a lot of impressive coral reef if you go out far enough from Long Beach. This island is quite busy and full of day trippers in the daytime but beautifully calm, peace and quiet at night. You can rent sun loungers or deck chairs to take a rest and chat with friends. There are a lot of water sports activities such as snorkeling, canoes and banana boats. You can join in some of classes if you are interest in scuba diving classes or batik classes. If you are tough enough you can also take a parasail outing with speedboat at Long Beach. It's easily to have lunch and dinner in Coral Island. Both of Long Beach and Banana Beach has many kind of Thai food. You may try the buffet or impressive cuisine. After meals, just take a walk you will find an open-air pavilion used for massage at the eastern end of Long Beach.
