Rueisuei Hot Spring is located in Rueisuei Township, and is originated from the upper stream of Hongye Stream. Rueisuei Hot Springs, along with Hongye Hot Springs and Antong Hot Spring are the three famous hot springs in Hualien. Among these three, Rueisuei Hot Spring is especially famous.The water of Rueisuei Hot Springs contains alkaline sodium carbonate. The water is brownish and contains iron, which makes it undrinkable. Temperature is around 48 degree Celsius, and it is good for skin disease and arthritis. The pH of the salty spring water ranges are between 6 and 7.

The high altitude of Rueisuei Hot Springs offers a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains and plains. Rueisuei Hot Spring does not only helped boosted tourism in Rueisuei, but also in Rueisuei farms.The most famous feature in Rueisuei Township is hot springs. No. 5 National Highway: From Sizih Interchange (汐止交流道) of No. 1 National Highway (國道1號/中山高) connect to No. 5 National Highway (國道5號/北宜高速公路) -> Xueishan Tunnel (雪山隧道) -> Suao Interchange (蘇澳交流道) -> No. 9 Provincial Highway (台9號)-> Rueisuei Town (瑞穗鄉) -> Shenyeh (生葉) -> Honyeh Hot Spring area (紅葉溫泉區) -> Rueisuei Hot Spring (瑞穗溫泉)

2. No. 5 National Highway: From Nangang Interchange (南港交流道) of No. 3 National Highway (國道3號/北二高) connect to No. 5 National Highway (國道5號/北宜高速公路) -> Xueishan Tunnel (雪山隧道) -> Suao Interchange (蘇澳交流道) -> No. 9 Provincial Highway (台9號) -> Rueisuei Town (瑞穗鄉) -> Shenyeh (生葉) -> Honyeh Hot Spring area (紅葉溫泉區) -> Rueisuei Hot Spring (瑞穗溫泉)

By Bus:
Take Taichi Bus (台汽客運) from Hualien (花蓮) to Rueisuei (瑞穗). From there, take Hualien Bus (花蓮客運) to Rueisuei Hot Spring stop (瑞穗溫泉站).

By Train:
Take train to Rueisuei Railway Station (瑞穗火車站). From there, take Hualien Bus (花蓮客運) bound for Fuli (富里) from Hualien (花蓮) to Rueisuei Hot Spring stop (瑞穗溫泉站).
