Hong Kong Museum of History is not just a history museum but full of art collections. The museum was established in July 1975, it's located in Tsim Sha Tsui and next to the Hong Kong Science Museum. Hong Kong Museum of History preserves Hong Kong's historical and cultural heritage. In order to let the visitors know the history of Hong Kong, the museum usually holds a series of exhibitions to introduce the development of Hong Kong as a world- class city and events capital. You'll see the collections of the museum encompass the natural history, archaeology, ethnography and local history. During the visit in Hong Kong Museum of History, you may see some of permanent exhibitions and special exhibitions to get more ideas about Hong Kong. The permanent exhibition will tell you the story from the Devonian period 400 million years ago and conclude with the reunification of Hong Kong with China in 1997.
