The Avenue of Stars is one of the most popular Hong Kong destinations!
Located along the waterfront of the beautiful Victoria Harbor around the New World Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui East, Kowloon, the Avenue of Stars is a 440-meter long promenade which is built to honor the celebrities of the Hong Kong film industry yet bringing Hong Kong tourism to another level. The Avenue of Stars is a HKD 40 million promenade project sponsored by the New World Group, and supported by the Tourism Commission, Hong Kong Tourism Board, Leisure and Cultural Services Department, and the Hong Kong Film Awards Association Limited. The architecture was modeled after the Avenue of Stars of Hollywood.

The Avenue of Stars is a free attraction that visitors may choose to visit at any time, either day or night. The promenade illustrates stunning night sceneries by the tons of twinkling lights by the skyscrapers. The Symphony of Lights performing here during nighttime is another must-see highlight of this Hong Kong hot destination.

Here at the Avenue of Stars, not only stunning night sceneries can be seen, but visitors will also find more than 100 plaques with handprints of the famous Hong Kong actors and actresses, plus a video showing the history of the local movie industry. The most popular photograph point here on the Avenue of Stars is the 3-meter tall bronze statue of the world famous kung fu star, Bruce Lee. Other than taking pictures with the celebrities’ plaques and statue of Bruce Lee, the statue of Oscar and many other movie related statues are waiting for your explorations. Take a rest at the snack shops and souvenir booths while appreciating the attractive sceneries of the Victoria Harbor beside.
