After 5 long years of planning and organizing, 2016 Pingtung Tropical Agriculture Exhibition is finally on the way. 30 days of exhibition, only close on Chinese New Year’s Eve, Pingtung invites you to experience the local agriculture free admission. Over 27 hectares, the event is organized into 12 main themes. The Rainbow Flower Sea, Pili Puppetry Character Theme Rice Paddy, and 800 meter melon walkway, it is the hottest local experience during the Chinese New Year holidays.

Pingtung Tropical Agriculture Exhibition continued the Line Rice Paddy fad from a while ago. By creating the popular Pili Puppetry Characters themes on the rice paddy, it is definitely a taste of local culture. 6 meters high platform is available from 9 am, only 400 guests per day may admire the rice paddy from up high.

Pingtung is rich in agriculture. The exhibition includes Flower Sea, cuisines, recreational agriculture, pet area and children’s playground. There is a tram which takes you around the exhibition, other activities like live performances, special event displays and Lantern Festival will be available throughout the 30days. It’s a great way to enjoy the Chinese New Year with the whole family.
