Event: Sunrise LPGA Taiwan Championship 2011
Time: 20th – 23rd October, 2011
Place: Sunrise Golf & Country Club, Yang Mei City, Taoyuan County, Taiwan
Fare: TWD 1,000 day pass (1st & 2nd Round), TWD 2,000 day pass (3rd & Final Round), TWD 3,900 Full pass (all 4 days)
Taiwan’s first LPGA event is set to tee-off on the 20th October this year at the Sunrise Golf & Country club in Taiwan’s Taoyuan County; Featuring over 80 LPGA Players in the world and 10 local Taiwanese players will play in this 1st ever, LPGA Taiwan Championship in October, fighting for a total of US$2 million prize purse. The golf club where the first LPGA tournament in Taiwan will take place, Sunrise Golf & Country Club, has been undergoing a serious, large-scale renovation in order to pass LPGA official qualifications to receive top golf stars around the world. The work is expected to be completed in mid-September, including the new 7,200-yard course and clubhouses. All the grass on greens are to be new and purchased solely for this event as requested by the LPGA and new mowers were also introduced to the club in order to maintain the course. All top 80 players on the LPGA’s official money list as of September 12th will be taking part of this event along with 10 local Taiwanese players as well.

20th Oct (thu) – 1st round of LPGA Taiwan Championship
21st Oct (sat) – 2nd round of LPGA Taiwan Championship
22nd Oct (sat) – 3rd round of LPGA Taiwan Championship
23rd Oct (sun) – Final round of LPGA Taiwan Championship
