2014 Christmasland in New Taipei City

This is the fourth year of the official celebrating events. The event is attracting more and more tourists each year. After being voted the most romantic Christmas attraction, the celebration is moving on to the next stage. This year, after the ceremony on November 15th, the events will kick through Christmas all the way to January 4th. So it’s celebrating Christmas and New Year altogether.

The Christmasland is breaking a lot of record this year, including the longest exhibiting period, the most LED decorations, the longest Christmas lighting and the tallest Christmas tree. The Christmas tree tall 36 meters high, using patent techniques in macaron colored lighting offering a brand new visual experience.

Aside from the Christmas tree, Christmasland is presenting the romantic sea of light. 18 LED light is lit every square meter up to 32million meters long. The light show this year will be showed with narrating and reality simulation like an outdoor theater.

Christmasland will be offering a few rides for children, like the Ferris Wheel, Hot Air Balloon, Carousel, and theme park. Performances like concerts will be held on December 6th, 7th, 20th, and 21th. The silent night celebration will be on the 24th, wishing the city a Merry Christmas.
