Logos Hope is visiting Keelung, Kaohsiung, and Tainan starting Aug. 23, 2014

Known as the largest bookstore on water, Logos Hope carrying more than 5000 books is operated by a Germany charity organization taking books, education and knowledge around the world. With around 45 different nationalities represented on board, all staff and crew are non-salaried volunteers signed for 1 or 2 years cruises, promoting each individual culture with the people in every destination they arrive. Logos Hope has visited more than 42 countries in its 8 years of service, including the previous Logos, Logos II, and Doulos. The mission is to make low cost books available in parts of the world where books are hard to come by. The books types cover Christian, science, sports, arts, cooking, dictionaries and maps. Aside from books, Logos Hope promotes educational programs on fitness, healthcare, AIDS prevention and several other varieties of subjects and they establish libraries in local schools, homes and community organization the best they can as well.
Logos Hope is currently in port in Keelung, Taiwan. From August 23rd to September 10th, 2014 Logos Hope is available to aboard from 10 am to 9:30 pm Tuesday to Saturday, 1 pm to 9:30pmOn Sunday, and close on Monday. Logos Hope can hold up to 800 visitors, with capacity to host an additional 700 in the Logos Lounge and Hope Theatre combined. The ship also has enhanced facilities and spaces for catering, health services and schooling. Logos Hope will head down to Kaohsiung on September 13th to 24th then Anping, Tainan from the 24th to 29th. With only NT$20 for a ticket to experience the largest book store on water, now is the chance.
