Walking into Republic of Chocolate, is just like walking into a chocolate. A chocolate cut in half with chocolate fillings melting from the middle is literally how the outside of the museum should be described. The concept of applying simple line forming the image of a chocolate is a treat for your eye before you enter. They provide guide tours introducing the history and the making of chocolate around the museum. There is an actual green house with cacao tree, an exhibition hall presenting the facts of chocolate and chocolate making class for you to make your own chocolate.
Republic of Chocolate provides information for your brain and food for your stomach as well. Aside from chocolate tasting, the restaurant in the museum offers chocolate fusion cuisines. It is a menu you will not find anywhere else but from a chocolate factory. It will be hard not smiling after walking out of this giant chocolate.

Sessions for entrance: 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00, 16:00, 16:00 and 17:00 (addition according to the situation)
People who wish to participate in the tour should line up at the lobby (1st floor) 5 minutes before the session starts.

Chocolate DIY Class – Basics
Sessions: 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00, 16:00, 16:00 and 17:00 (addition according to the situation)
The class is about 40 minutes.
Fees: NTD200 per set. Welcome to use the coupon of your ticket.
Adult ticket: NT$ 200 (NT$100 coupon included)
Concession ticket: NT$ 100 (NT$ 50 coupon included)
Concession ticket is for children aged from 3 to 12 years old, senior above (including) 65 years old, and people with physical and mental difficulties

Citizens of Bade City may purchase 50% discounted admission for their entrance on Tuesday, Friday and non-public holidays.
No entrance for pets.

Proceed on Highway no.1
From Highway no.1
Exit onto Highway No. 2 (Airport System) → Head east towards Taoyuan City
Exit on Danan (Yingge / Bade) Interchange →head for Bade
Proceed on Fude 1st Road → Turn left onto Heping Road
Turn left on Section 2 of Jieshou Road onto Lane 490 and proceed
Drive 50 meters further and turn right to enter the Chocolate Street
Follow instructions to enter the site.
By Public Transportations
From Taoyuan bus station
Chose one of the three following Bus routes:
1. Taoyuan Bus No. 157 (Head towards the direction of Bade and get off at the Meihua Community Station on Section 2 of Jieshou Road)
2.Taoyuan Bus No. 5044 & 5053 (Head towards the direction of Longtan and get off at the Meihua Community Station on Section 2 of Jieshou Road)
3.Taoyuan Bus No. 5060 (Head towards the Retirement Homes for the Veterans, pass through Gengjiaoliao, and get off at the Meihua Community Station on Section 2 of Jieshou Road)
After getting off the bus, walk along the Chocolate Street for 15 minutes to reach Republic of Chocolate
