The metro network of Kaohsiung City, Kaohsiung Mass Raipid Transit (KMRT) is the second metropolitan metro system in Taiwan. KMRT including viaduct, ground level and underground, mainly are underground section. The red line (Chiaotou to seashore industry area) is the first operation line, and will be extended to Kaohsiung County in the future. The whole system makes traffic of southern Taiwan more convenient in Kaohsiung and Pintung. The orange line is from National Sun Yat-sen University to Huangpu Park, Fengshan, with the blue and brown lines, traveling in Kaohsiung will be easy and without difficulty.
