Taiwan is renowned for its wide range of mouthwatering delicacies from traditional snacks to refined dishes and creative cuisines. For those who have been to Taiwan before and took a stroll in various streets around the city, there’s no surprise when Taipei appeared in the Asia’s top 10 list for street food along with Thailand’s Bangkok, Japan’s Fukuoka, Vietnam’s Hanoi and Seoul in Korea.

The 2012 Taipei Culinary Exhibition is to be held from August 17-20, 2012, at Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC) Hall 1. There will be culinary competitions, cooking classes, food booths, as well as a number of souvenir booths that Taiwan has to offer to your friends and families. A number of Taiwanese food companies will also be there to showcase their products, from traditional Taiwanese pastry to Dantsu noodles.
