Located in DaJia Dist., Taichung City, Dajia Jenn Lann Temple is the religion center of central Taiwan worships Mazu and the locals call it Mazu Temple. Dajia Jenn Lann Temple was built in 1770. As the count of pilgrims grows, the Temple was rebuilt in 1980. With the Chinese palace-style, the architecture is furnished with statues of god, elaborate wood carvings, painting decoration. Now, this ancient temple is a well-known one. The Culture Building right by DaJia Junior High School is a Chinese style architecture offering agora, executants saloon, exhibition, library, cultural museum and chamber.

The highlight of Dajia Jenn Lann Temple is the patrols and pilgrimages in lunar calendar March every year, the birth of Mazu. Over 100 thousand pilgrims come to join the tour from Dajia Jenn Lann Temple to Hsin Kang Feng Tien Palace in Chiayi, traveling more than 340 kilometers on foot for 9 days and 8 nights. The route of parade across 4 coastal cities in central Taiwan Tour, includes Taichung , Changhua, Yunlin and Chiayi.

By Bus :
1. Take bus from Taipei(台北北站) or Taichung(台中) to Dajia direction(大甲方向), get off at Dajia stop

By Railway :
1. Take train to Dajia Railway Station(大甲火車站), then take a walk to the Temple(about 200 meters)

By Car :
1. National number 1 highway(國道一號), exit Houli offramp(后里交流道), drive along county highway route 132(132縣道路) towards Dajia(大甲), turn on to Zhongshan Rd(中山路) to reach temple.
