Kenting Music Festival is an action-packed live music extravaganza that is held for four consecutive days during 2014/04/03-2014/04/06. The music festival consist of a series of splendid music concerts and events, such as Spring Scream, Spring Wave, Foam Party, Colorful-spring Party, Spring Fantasy, Moonlight Party, and Fun Electronic Party, featuring the elements of music, arts and culture in the festival. Kenting Spring Scream Festival is Taiwan’s most historic, largest and internationally renowned music festival since 1995. Being hosted in April each year at Taiwan’s southernmost holiday haven- Kenting with performances of over 200 local and oversea artists.

Spring Scream was first organized by two Americans-Jimi Moe and Wade Davis for their love for art and music. Began with a total of 20 performing groups in 1995 and a record of 600 bands and performing groups in 2011, the event not only provides a stage for local music bands and artists to perform, many foreign individuals and bands are also given the opportunity o participate in this arts and music feast. This enthusiastic southern Taiwan music hall now attracts thousands of people each year.

This year, the 2014 Kenting Spring Scream Festival is to be held from April 3rd through 6th and once again set at areas of Kenting Eluanbi Park. Other parties and events are to be held from April 4th to 5th at Hengchun Airport, South Bay, and hotels on Kenting Street. From Taoyuan International Airport:
Taoyuan Int’l Airport -> Take Ubus no. 705 (about 15-20 minutes, bus runs on a regular basis) or Taoyuan Bus (runs 6 times a day) to HSR Taoyuan Station -> Take high speed railway from HSR Taoyuan Station to HSR Kaohsiug Zuoying Station -> Catch a shuttle bus bound for Kenting to the event site.

From Kaohsiung International Airport:
Kaohsiung Int’l Airport -> Take shuttle bus to Hengchun (Kenting) area
It takes about 2 hours from Kaohsiung Int’l Airport to Kenting.
