Location: Sanyi Wood Sculpture Museum
Sanyi Wood Sculpture Museum was constructed in March 1990. Originally establishing as Sanyi Wood Sculpture Arts Gallery, later renamed to Sanyi Wood Sculpture Museum and opened to public on 9 April 1995. This is the only museum in Taiwan with wood carving as its theme, and possesses a wide-range collection of wood carving works, including religious items, furniture, and folk art objects. It also has a wood carving classroom and a library. Visitors can take the personal tour guides; join the DIY wood carving sessions.

The Sanyi Wood-Carving Festival has been held in May annually since 1990 and gather competitors in each region. Through the participation of local wood-carving, artists can exchange ideas, techniques, and be inspired. You can also visit the wood-carving exhibition,have fun with color wood-carving DIY, check out the wood-carving market, experience the series of Hakka life and culture shows, etc.
