Located about 18 kilometers away from downtown Taitung City in Beinan Town of Taitung County, Taiwan, Chu Lu Ranch covers an area about 60 hectares at an elevation of 200-390 meters. Established in 1973, Chu Lu Ranch is Taiwan’s biggest hillside pasture housing about 350 Holstein dairy cows that produce 500 metric tons of milk per year.

With the carefully-selected location, Chu Lu Ranch is gifted with a mild weather and enough rainfall. Hence, the grasslands offer enough food supply year-round. Chu Lu Ranch houses Holstein dairy cows imported from Canada, which milk is the main production of the ranch. These dairy cows are fed on clovers of higher-quality that produce high-quality milk. Chu Lu Ranch is where one may find fresh milk, as well as other dairy products such as milk ice-cream-a popular product favored by all visitors.

Occupying a large area, Chu Lu Ranch is designated into a number of areas, including outdoor teashop, barbecue area, forage grass area, grazing area, forest paths, as well as a souvenir shop for a wide array of dairy products, providing a wonderful stop for relaxations and greeneries suitable for visitors of all ages.
