Wufengchi Waterfalls
Due to the impact of the typhoon, the Wufengqi Scenic Area collapsed. To ensure the safety of tourists, it will be temporarily closed until January 31, 2026 for reconstruction.

Wufungchi Water Falls is located in the eastern Chiohsi Villag, and is about 3.5 km from the train station. Wufungchi (Five Mountains Flag) covers five mountains as the shape of flags. One can appreciate a three-floor high waterfall as one walk along the trail to the top. Its splendid view and curtain-like scene are unforgettable for visitors.

From Taipei, go on Tai-2 or Tai-9 Provincial Route to Chiohsi (Follow the road sign to Wufungchi and right turn to No 2 Route.)
By train :
Take the train from Taipei to Chiohsi and change to Taichi Express Bus and alight at Tachung Village.
