Nathan Road

Nathan Road is one of the most important roads in Hong Kong. It's the main thoroughfare in Kowloon and connects two main business districts in a south-north direction between Mong Kok District and Tsim Sha Tsui District. Nathan Road starts at its intersection with Boundary Street in the north, ends on the southern part of Kowloon at its junction with Salisbury Road, and a few meters north of Victoria Harbour. This road was known as the Golden Mile in the post-World War II years. With a total 3600 meters long, Nathan Road is divided into five sections, including Prince Edward section, Mong Kong section, Yau Ma Tei section, Jordan section and Tsim Sha Tsui section. It is lined with tall buildings, shops, and restaurants on Nathan Road. Here are some landmarks and buildings along the road, Chungking Mansions, Kowloon Masjid and Islamic Center, and St. Andrew's Church. The road is crowded with both locals and tourists to do shopping in every fancy shop, have meals in each fantastic restaurant and take pictures in front of all tall buildings. By the way, if you are tired keep walking on the street, you may have a different experience to enjoy a wonderful tea time with your friends or family in the fancy coffee shop on Nathan Road in the afternoon.
