Four Eyes Well as its appearance looks like a Four-cavity well situated north-end of the Zhongyang Street in Magong. The well was dug during Ming Dynasty (1592), and it is class 3 monument in Penghu.

This Four Eyes Well is 5.6 meters deep and two meters in diameter. There is a stone slate covering the well opening, leaving four circular openings for people retrieve water, and preventing the people slide into the well accidently. According to legend, the Four-eyed well remained running even during draughts, and the water is clear and cool. Now it is the oldest well remain in Magong City.

Take public bus towards Huhsi route, Pengnan route and get off at Tianhou Temple, turn right on Zhongyang St. walk for 100-meter, and you will see the Four Eyes Well.
