2015 Taipei Lantern Festival will be held at Taipei Expo Park from February 27th to March 8th. As the Chinese Zodiac this year is the year of Goat with the theme mascot “Golden Happy Goat” resembles being joyous and prosperous to have a great year ahead. One of the main programs is held at “Go Go Golden Goat Theater”; the lanterns displaying in special visual effects by using computer monitoring the lantern’s lighting, sounding and movement to make the show even more exciting and spectacular. The show will be start at 7:00PM every evening throughout the event and will start the new show in every 30 minutes.

What’s more? The Taipei City Government also prepared 100,000 free lanterns for the participants. The lantern is designed in the traditional folk puppet concepts by using the paper artwork, and the four limbs of the puppets can move flexibly. The giveaway hand-held mini goat lanterns will be distributed from March 1st 1:00PM to March 5th at the Gallery Plaza of Taipei Expo Park. During the Lantern Festival period, there will be the traffic regulation near the event venue. To avoid the traffic jam, taking public transportation to join this event is highly recommended.

By Bus: 
Take bus no.218,220,260,277,310,40.42,612 and alight at the Yuanshan Stop.
