This year, the biggest flower viewing event “2017 Mt. Lioushidan Daylily Blooming Season” will take place on August 5th all the way to September 24th. In addition to viewing a sea of golden flowers, there will be events such as daylily harvesting experience. Visitors are also recommended to try some daylily cuisine in the local restaurants.
Located in the east of Taiwan, Hualien preserves more natural scenery in comparing with western Taiwan. The Taroko Gorge, Swallow Grotto, and Tunnels of Nine Turns are amazing attractions which you must pay visits. For visiting Taiwan’s most fascinating natural spots, Hualien is definitely one of the top choices, especially during the blooming season of daylily. It is the best time to get away from the city and attend outdoor activities such as hiking, rafting, and even whale-watching. Book your Hualien hotels or Hualien getaway packages and enjoy the easy pace of eastern Taiwan.
