Songshan Cultural and Creative Park was once a tobacco factory in 1937 under the name Songshan Tobacco Plant of the Monopoly Bureau of the Taiwan Governor's Office. It is best known for its cigar, tobacco and liquor. The factory ceases the production in 1998, and in 2001 was designated to be one of Taipei’s the 99th historic site by Taipei City Government. After renovated and reconstruct, now this place has transformed into a creative park. This place becomes a venue for hosting diverse cultural and creative exhibitions.

Songshan Cultural and Creative Park is located at Taipei Xinyi District was positioned as “Creative Hub of Taipei” in 2012. The park is aimed for the creativity and innovation projects to echo with the modern trend industries. This park provides a platform for attendants who have inspiring and innovation spirit to grow. The four keys strategies for the park to achieve the goals of becoming the “Creative Hub of Taipei” are “Creative Lab”, “Creative Co-Op”, “Creative School”, and “Creative Showcase”. From time to time, the park will invite various cultural artists around the world, creativity events, and performances as platform for the public audience can explore their curiosities or seek for some inspirations.

The nearest pay parking lot is located at the underground level of the Taipei New Horizon Building. Please enter from Yanchang Road (the intersection of Civic Boulevard and Guangfu South Road).

Park Entrances
Enter from Lane 553, Section 4, Zhongxiao East Road, via entrances 1~3. The Park’s eco-pond and entrance sign are visible upon entering from the lane of the previous location of the United Daily News and passing by the Criminal Investigation Bureau.

Enter from Yanchang Road, via entrances 4~5. At the intersection of Civic Boulevard and Guangfu South Road, from Civic Boulevard get off at the Guangfu South Road ramp and drive from the west side toward the east into Yanchang Road.

Metro
Take the Banqiao Line (Blue) to the Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall Station, and take Exit 5 and walk for about 550m to Yanchang Road (the intersection of Civic Boulevard and Guangfu South Road).
Take the Banqiao Line (Blue) to the Taipei City Hall Station, and take Exit 1 (with stairs) or Exit 2 (with escalators) and walk for about 400m to Lane 553, Section 4, Zhongxiao East Road.
