Causeway Bay Hong Kong is probably the most popular shopping area on Hong Kong Island especially for the locals. It's located on the central of Hong Kong Island. There are only two MTR stops from Admiralty. One of the main Hong Kong-Kowloon switch-over MTR station. On weekends some of side streets are actually close to the traffic so as to accommodate the crowds. Just crossing the Yee Woo Street is the heart of Causeway Bay, surrounded by lots of shops, restaurants, beauty salons, cinemas, and hotels of different sizes. Victoria Park is the most famous park in Hong Kong and it's also sandwiched between Causeway Bay and Tin Hau. There is a shelter for marina / typhoon as waterfront. Most of restaurants have moved upstairs because the lack of affordable real estate at the street level. Here are some buildings with restaurants on floors above ground: Lee Theatre Plaza, Island Beverly, Time Square, and Hennessy Center. Causeway Bay is accessible by just about all kinds of transportation, such as buses, min-buses, trams, MTR, and taxis. The most convenient and cheap would be the MTR. The MTR is on the blue line. Just get off at the stop and follow the signs in the station to where you want to go.
