(Taichung) Suggested Two Day Museum Tour in Taichung

If you want to experience a different city life in Taiwan, come to Taichung!

You may choose to take THSR, train, or bus to Taichung. Then take a taxi to your Taichung hotel for check-in.
Then, your may take a taxi to the National Museum of Natural Science. The National Museum of Natural Science is one of the most popular attractions in Taichung. The Life Science Hall display the models of ancient creatures like cells, trilobites, Placoderms, Panderichthys, Hylonomus, dinosaurs, Eucynodontia, Hominina, Australopithecus afarensis, and the earliest human, showing the evolution of human. It also has a dinosaur exhibit which displays life-like dinosaurs moving and roaring in the hall. Moreover, you may go to the Space IMAX Theater and the 3D Theater and experience great 3D adventures. Since the museum close at 5 pm every day, you may take a stroll outside at the Museum to enjoy fresh air and the beautiful scenery. During dinner time, you may choose to eat Hong Kong styled snacks at local teahouses or eat local snacks at the famous Fengjia Night Market. After dinner, you may go shopping at Fengjia Night Market or Jingming 1st Street.

On the next day, you may take taxi to the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts (NTMOFA) to appreciate art works, and then take a stroll at the Museum Art-Park Way on Wu Chuan W. Road. The outdoor courtyard of the Museum (including the Public Outdoor Sculpture Park) has a total area of 102,000 square meters. It is now the largest art museum in Asia. The first and second floors display temporary themed exhibits whilst the third floor showcases a permanent exhibition of the Museum's collection.
