Begin your Kaohsiung KRT tour at (R8) KRT Sanduo Shopping District, where the landmark of Kaohsiung also the landmark of southern Taiwan, Tuntex Sky Tower (also known as Kaohsiung 85 Building) is towered. This Kaohsiung landmark is reachable by a 10-15 min short stroll from the R8 Station. The Tuntex Sky Tower is a skyscraper comprises of 85 floors with the world’s third fastest elevators that can travel 75 floors in only 43 seconds (600 meters per minute approximate). The elevators will take you to the 75th floor, you’ll have to follow the directions and go down one floor to the observatory on the 74th floor. At the observatory, you’ll be provided with fabulous, picturesque sceneries overlooking Kaohsiung and the Kaohsiung Port.
