The annual Yilan International Children’s Folklore and Folkgame Festival takes place at Dongshan River Water Park from 4th July to 23rd August at 9:00am to 7:00pm. The festival event features 4 different areas such as performance, exhibitions, games, and culture exchange, which also presents children’s favorite summer games and water facilities alongside the refreshing water of Dongshan River Water Park.

This year the event organizer also add more water and ground facilities such as rock climbing wall, swing, maze, and many more to presenting children’s games in a diverse and interesting way. What’s more? The stage performances will be featuring songs and dance shows from 20 countries of performance troupes, where visitors may get to enjoy the spectacular entertainments and learn different cultures. The exhibition will be showcase of antique folk games such as spinning top and marble games, children may also take part in crafts making with paper clay and bamboo sticks.
