Fireworks and music, nothing beats this during a summer evening. The firework and music festival at Dadaocheng has always been the great party. A series of tour has been arranged this year for guests to enjoy more of the history side of this part of the city.

Dadaocheng Music Valentine’s Day is lighting up the night sky on September 26th. The event was postponed due to the impact of the Soudelor Typhoon. The autorities has announced the celebration will take place during the Lunar Festival.(9/22 updated)
Dadaocheng Music Valentine’s Day has become the main event during this time of the year, the Chinese Valentine’s Day. With music and fireworks, the party will spice up your Chinese Valentine’s Day. This year, with more to offer, interactive games and performances is organized for a great time. Aside from the firework, on August 9th, The Taipei City god Temple will be handing out 100 Blessed Pouches. Blessed by the goddess of birth, it symbols good luck for the coming of healthy baby.

On August 15th, Lucky Can will be given out at the Dadaocheng Water Gate No.5 along with Chinese traditional ceremony. The music will begin at 4 pm to 9 pm, and the firework will start at around 8:30 pm during the live music performance by the Taipei Symphony Orchestra. It’s a symphony for your eyes and ears.
During the day before the event, a series of tour is arranged for guest to explore Dadaocheng like never before. Guided tours through the alleys and streets of the old part of the city, explaining the historical background and story behind the brick and stones. Chinese Valentine’s related activity is organized near the set. With uploading photos of couples and locating your position, participants will receive chocolate and beverage. Couples exclusive games and live artists performances awaits you in Taipei.
