Chiayi City International Band Festival serves as a cultural platform provides domestic and international symphony. The festival organized as an international scale and invited international orchestra to exchange and perform together with Taiwan orchestra team for a grand and spectacular public orchestra parade.

Chiayi City Band Festival has started in 1993. In the beginning, there are only 5 bands participated for the first year. The event has expanded and become bigger scale over the years. In 1997, they started adopted the word international to its name as Chiayi City International Band Festival and had successfully organized the Asia Band Festival in 2000. Through these annual amazing festivals, the organization had invited performing bands all over the world, which includes The United States, Canada, Germany, Japan, Australia, Hong Kong, Russia, Kazakhstan, South Korea, China, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and many more. Now, Chiayi has transformed and become a musical city. It is a live performance event that the public audiences are excited and looking forward to it.
