The 2010 Taichung Bike Week will commence on the 4th December till 8th December, the 4 day event will be held in various hotels in Taichung as their pit stops. This will be a linking event between Ride On which will take place on December 1st to 6th 2010 and Sram’s Taiwanathon from 5th to 8th December 2010. TBW as short term for Taichung Bike Week has managed to gather the bicycle industry together under one major event striving to provide product managers with the perfect environment in which they may utilize their time in Taichung and perform their duties with maximum efficiency.
A new group of five exhibitors will band together to show their products in this year’s Taichung Bike Week, named First Group which includes Selle Italia, Continental, Deda Elementi, Reynolds and Cane Creek. TBW is held at Hotels in downtown Taichung to provide product managers with a laid-back atmosphere in which to see component and parts before making final spec decisions for the next model year.
The Taichung City government will again support the event with shuttle buses between the participating hotels and with visitor and exhibitor information services at each of the hotels. Shuttle buses will run every 30 minutes and are free to all bicycle industry people. The bike routes will be marked out again allowing riders to enjoy some amazing riding on great roads only 5km from the city centre. There are four routes which all connect to each other and very well marked so it will become very popular with foreign riders who had never experience riding in Taiwan before. This amazing bicycle manufactures networking event is free to members of the bicycle industry so hotels around Taichung city area are expected to be fully booked out during the period.
